Press Relations
Fraport Brasil believes in the work of the free press and works directly with professional journalists to ensure that the correct information reaches society accurately.
In order for this work to take place efficiently and without impacting on operations and passenger flows, we share below some measures and guidelines for journalistic work at the airport.
Procedures for press recordings at the airport
Fraport Brasil informs that all recordings, image capturing, interviews or any other press activities at Fortaleza Airport must be requested in accordance with the procedures below:
To photograph or film press vehicles on the terminal premises, authorization must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, for areas without restricted access (such as the lobby), by emailing imprensafor@fraport-brasil.com, containing the day, time and duration, areas to be accessed and the reason and/or agenda.
To ensure operational safety, Fraport Brasil does not allow access to restricted areas, such as the courtyard, departure/departure lounges and construction areas, for the purpose of taking photos or making recordings. This is Fraport Brasil's commercial positioning and is applied to everyone, in order to maintain equal treatment of such requests.
For requests related to advertising campaigns, please check prices with the sales department.
Fraport will analyze requests on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to deny authorization if it does not agree with the action. These measures are intended to ensure the safety of airport operations, the organization of the environment and the comfort of users. Our priority is the well-being of passengers and airport users and ensuring safety, which is a non-negotiable asset.

Procedures for spotters
Since October 1, 2021, plane spotting sessions at Fortaleza Airport require registration with Fraport Brasil, at least three working days in advance.
Registration can be renewed every year and allows you to carry out photographic activities in the airport's external area, near the railings (Formigueiro and Proair), without requesting authorization for each session.
To register, send the following details and documents to imprensafor@fraport-brasil.com:
- Contact telephone number and e-mail address
- Copy of ID and CPF or CNH (driver's license)
- Certificate of Distribution of State Justice (first degree only). For residents of the state of Ceará, this is available at the following link: https: //sirece.tjce.jus.br/sirece-web/nova/solicitacao.jsf. Residents of other states should consult their local Judiciary.
once you have confirmed that you have registered, you will only need to identify yourself to the security guard on duty at each activity.
Important: in addition to registering, each spotter must provide their own standard reflective vest, in blue and with the name SPOTTER, as shown in the example below. During photographic activities, it will be compulsory to be on the list of registered spotters and to wear the vest.
When collecting personal data, Fraport Brasil uses it to control access to the airport site, with the aim of guaranteeing airport operational security. Personal data is kept in a controlled location and remains stored for the duration of the Fortaleza Airport concession or until its owner requests its disposal.
