Fraport Brasil carries out simulated emergency exercise at Fortaleza airport
Activities follow National Civil Aviation Agency regulations
On Friday morning (28/11), Fraport Brasil is holding the ESEA (Simulated Emergency Exercise at an Aerodrome) at Fortaleza airport. The activities, which follow the rules of the National Civil Aviation Agency (RBAC 107), aim to simulate all the response actions to an airport emergency, as provided for in the Aerodrome Emergency Plan (PLEM).
We emphasize that the action is coordinated with the competent bodies and airlines so as not to have an impact on airport operations. The training is taking place in a restricted area and will therefore not be open to the press.
The purpose of this communication is simply to inform you about the training, so that if you are questioned by the public due to the movement at the airport, you can help us clarify that this is only a simulation and that there is no emergency taking place.
