Fraport Brasil took part in Expolog 2025, a benchmark event in the logistics sector, held at the Ceará Events Center on 27/11. On the occasion, the Pinto Martins Airport concessionaire took part in a panel highlighting new opportunities in the logistics sector, with a focus on the approval of Fortaleza Airport's International Cargo Terminal for e-commerce.

Rodrigo Sousa, Fraport Brasil's commercial and logistics director, was one of the speakers on the panel "Approval of Fortaleza Airport for E-Commerce", who presented on the novelty approved by the Federal Revenue Service. Fortaleza Airport's cargo terminal is now authorized to operate express customs clearance of shipments, as well as customs clearance of international postal shipments, also known as courier cargo.

In his speech, Rodrigo Sousa highlighted the advantages of this approval, which represents a significant step forward for the airport and logistics in the region. "This authorization opens up new possibilities for the region's logistical development, allowing for greater agility and cost reduction in import and export operations. With its modernized infrastructure and the approval of Teca, Fortaleza Airport is now a strategic hub for receiving and sending international shipments, which benefits both companies and consumers," said Sousa.

The news comes at a time of growing demand for fast and efficient logistics solutions, especially in the e-commerce sector, which continues to expand rapidly in Brazil and around the world.
