On Thursday (20/6), Fortaleza Airport held a simulated emergency exercise for impassable airfields and inoperable aircraft. This practice aims to keep all those involved in responding to accidents or events that suspend airport operations prepared, as well as training skills for a safe operational resumption.

On the occasion of this module, Tabletop Exercise (TTX), Fraport Brasil's Safety, Emergency Response, Operations, Maintenance, Security and Communication teams took part, as well as representatives from Latam(Recovery Kit), Aeródromo Dias Branco, DTCEA (Control Tower), Fire Brigade, medical staff and airlines from Fortaleza airport. The exercise, which is regulated by Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency), was conducted by Fraport Brasil's Emergency Response team and included a guest mediator from the airline Azul.

"Fortaleza airport stands out among the country's airports for its monthly practice of simulated exercises, which is a differential in the preparation of our operations. We know the importance of being prepared for emergencies and we take our commitment to the safety of people and aviation seriously," says Roberto Pereira, Fraport Brasil's emergency response manager.
