Fraport Brasil supports ministry campaign against harassment at Carnival 2026

Action seeks to combat gender violence and sexual harassment during the festive season

Fraport Brasil (the concessionaire that manages the international airports of Porto Alegre and Fortaleza) has started to support the recently launched national Carnival 2026 campaign "Se liga ou eu ligigo 180", launched by the Ministry of Women. The action seeks to reinforce the federal government's commitment to protecting women and tackling sexual harassment and gender-based violence during the popular festival period. The Ministries of Ports and Airports (MPOR) and Tourism have also joined the campaign.

With a direct message, the campaign is based on three axes - women's right to party and to public space, the affirmation that violence is not part of Carnival and collective responsibility in confronting harassment - and will be present at various carnivals throughout Brazil.

All the pieces in the campaign promote the Women's Call Center - Ligue 180, a free service available 24 hours a day, every day of the week, for guidance, reception and forwarding of complaints. The service can also be reached via WhatsApp at (61) 9610-0180.
